This training will help prepare interested parties to work with returning citizens and assist with their transition back into society from incarceration.
DC’s Court Services and Offender Supervision Agency (CSOSA) will conduct the training through its Faith Community Partnership, which provides support, encouragement, fellowship, and resources to faith-based volunteers embarking on this journey.
Did you know that each year, about 2,300 men and women return from federal correctional institutions—via CSOSA supervision—to DC? Many credit mentors for their successful adjustment during the difficult re-entry period.
