The Diaconate Board shall assist the Ministers in the administration of the Lord’s Supper and shall visit the sick, counsel members, provide for the supply of the pulpit when necessary, look after the needy and assist in the spiritual care of the Church. There is no limit to the number of senior or ordained deacons. However, the number of primary deacons cannot exceed thirty.
