Eddie Drennon is a native of New Jersey and a graduate for Fairleigh Dickinson University and the Howard University School of Music. He is currently on the faculty of the George Washington University and the Levine School of Music in Washington, D.C. He is a member of the Umoja String Quartet.
Mr. Drennon has been the featured violinist with the great Bo Diddly and Latin Jazz combos throughout North and South America, West Africa, the Caribbean, and Europe. He has been hailed as an eclectic talent and master violinist. As composer, arranger, and producer of R&B, funk, disco, Latin jazz and salsa, he has worked with Henry Mancini, Johnny Mathis, Smokey Robinson, Ike and Tina Turner, and Esther Williams.
